This notice explains how SoundAsleep Products (“SoundAsleep,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit soundasleepproducts.com, contact us, subscribe to marketing email, use optional address suggestions, or continue to Shopify-hosted cart, checkout, or account services.

Information we collect

We may collect:

  • contact and support information you submit, including your name, email address, optional phone number, optional order number, optional replacement shipping address, and message;
  • your email address and subscription status when you request marketing email;
  • cart information, including products, variants, quantities, and a Shopify cart identifier;
  • order, delivery, account, and payment-related information handled by Shopify after a Shopify handoff;
  • device and usage information, such as IP address, browser information, page URL or path, and storefront events; and
  • address text sent to Google Maps Platform when you use optional address suggestions.

Do not send payment-card details or sensitive personal information through the contact form.

How we use information

We use personal information to operate and secure the storefront; maintain carts and route customers to Shopify; process and support orders through Shopify; respond to contact and warranty requests through Zendesk; provide address suggestions you request; administer requested marketing email; measure storefront use when analytics consent is granted; prevent fraud and abuse; comply with legal obligations; and establish or defend legal claims.

How we disclose information

We disclose information to service providers that perform work for us, including Sites/Cloudflare for website hosting, Shopify for product, cart, checkout, payment, order, account, and newsletter functions, Zendesk for contact and warranty requests, Google Analytics 4 when configured, and Google Maps Platform when you use address suggestions.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transaction.

Payment-card information is submitted to Shopify or its payment providers and is not intended to enter SoundAsleep-managed website systems.

Analytics, storage, and privacy signals

Google Analytics 4 loads only when a valid measurement ID is configured. Analytics storage defaults to denied and is granted only when a stored analytics-consent choice permits it. Consent-denied mode may still send limited cookieless measurement pings to Google. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and ad personalization are configured as denied.

When the browser reports an enabled Global Privacy Control signal, the storefront keeps Google Analytics storage denied. This storefront control does not represent how every Shopify-hosted or third-party page processes privacy signals.

Shopify-hosted cart, checkout, and account pages use Shopify technologies and are governed by Shopify’s practices in addition to this notice.

Marketing communications

The footer subscription form submits an email address and newsletter tag to Shopify. You may request that SoundAsleep stop sending marketing email by using the unsubscribe option provided in a message or by submitting a request through /contact. We may retain information needed to record and honor an opt-out request.

SMS marketing is not active through this storefront. Providing an optional phone number through the contact form is for support intake and is not consent to marketing texts.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice and for applicable operational, accounting, fraud-prevention, warranty, dispute, and legal needs. Retention varies by the type of information and the system that handles it.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your privacy choices and requests

Depending on where you live and whether applicable law covers SoundAsleep, you may have rights concerning your personal information, such as access, correction, deletion, or a copy, and rights to object to or opt out of certain processing.

Submit a request through /contact and label the message “Privacy Request.” We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, match records, or verify an authorized agent’s authority. We will handle verified requests as required by applicable law.

International programs

International targeting and market-specific privacy programs for Canada, the European Union, and the United Kingdom are not active through this storefront.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our practices or obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
